Brand History
Qingling was born, developed and grew in the process of reform and opening up, adhered to opening up and cooperation, kept accumulation and rolling development, and sticked to the road of quality and efficiency. It has developed into a modern commercial vehicle enterprise with international advanced technology and a full range of light, medium and heavy trucks, and is a key backbone enterprise in China's automobile industry.
1985
▪ Chongqing Automobile Factory invested a joint venture with Isuzu to establish Qingling Motors Co., Ltd.
1994
▪ In 1994, H-shares issued in Hong Kong.
▪ In 1997, Convertible bonds issued.
▪ From 1995 to 1997, 7 subsidiaries and 1 technology center were jointly established by Qingling, Isuzu and other investors.
2005
▪ In 2005, Qingling and Isuzu jointly established an engine manufacturing company.
▪ In 2008-2010, Qingling set up wholly-owned body, auto machine and chassis manufacturing company.
2018
▪ In the past 12 years, it has established a heavy engine company and a technology development company with Isuzu.
▪ In 2017, the Shanghai Auto Show launched the heavy truck 'GIGA'
▪ In 2018, Qingling brand of TAGA pickup truck and pure electric light truck was launched.
2020
▪ In 2020, Qingling and Bosch jointly set up hydrogen power company .
▪ In 2020, Qingling's self-owened brands NIKA and the second generation of TAGA pickups was launched nationwide.
